These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services of Altus Platform LLC. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential and all activity under your account.
2. Use of the services
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the services for their intended purpose, in accordance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Organizer responsibilities
If you use our platform to collect registrations, you are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from your attendees, for the lawful handling of their data, and for the content of your events and communications.
4. Intellectual property
The website, platform, software, and content (excluding user-provided content) are owned by Altus Platform LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the services without our permission.
5. Third-party services
Our services may rely on third-party providers (e.g., hosting, QR-code generation, email delivery). We are not responsible for third-party services, and their terms apply to your use of them.
6. Disclaimers
The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altus Platform LLC and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $100 if no payment was made.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Altus Platform LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the services or your violation of these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
10. Changes & termination
We may modify these Terms or suspend or terminate the services at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
