Privacy Terms Cookies Acceptable Use

This Privacy Policy explains how Altus Platform LLC ("Altus Platform", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the website altusplatform.net and our services.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an organizer account.
  • Event & registration information: attendee names, email addresses, phone numbers, and check-in records collected through our platform.
  • Messages: support messages exchanged between organizers and attendees.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data collected automatically (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our website and services.
  • To create and manage accounts, events, registrations, and check-ins.
  • To send transactional communications, such as registration confirmations and QR codes.
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: (a) event organizers, for attendees who register to their events; (b) service providers that help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting and email delivery), under confidentiality obligations; and (c) authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Organizers may delete events and associated data; attendees may request deletion as described below.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including password hashing and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your privacy rights — California (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect; request access to or deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, contact legal@altusplatform.net.

7. International users (EU / UK — GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Our legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
